Marsh Clifton Jr Amp. Power cable not wired up to the code?
I've recently acquired this used Marsh Clifton Jr Amp. From what I've learned it's pretty much AA1164 Mojotone's Blackface Princeton Reverb kit with some upgrades.
This is my first princeton and I think it sounds beautiful! Can get quite loud to keep up at rehearsals, takes pedals well, and is surprisingly rich and open even at very quiet volume levels.
However, I was looking at an old post by and noticed that someone mentioned power cable not being wired to the code for a similar Marsh amp. It does look like this is also the case for the one at my hands...
Should I return it back to the store or would it be worth it to keep it? I am thinking to give it to an amp tech to fix the power cord wiring, add bias test points, and perhaps make some other upgrades/mods?
