Accepted at Drexel Medical school, Financing, Tuition

My daughter is accepted to Drexel University College of Medicine. The current yearly cost is about $85K with insurance and around $81K if insurance is not required.

As many of you know, the tuition is extremely expensive:-(. I was wondering if anyone has experience with getting tuition reduced at Drexel Medical School under certain circumstances? Or successfully negotiating tuition costs?

I would also appreciate hearing you experience with receiving scholarship if any?

I’m hoping this post will also help other students who are in a similar situation.

I feel sorry for medical students, most students end up incurring huge debt:-(

Wishing everyone success in their medical careers and hoping you can pay off your loans quickly. Best of luck to all medical students!

First year at Drexel University College of Medicine

My daughter just got accepted at Drexel.
I believe she will be attending classes at Health Sciences Building at 36th and Filbert Streets?

My question is, will she need a car first year? She has received conflicted views? Someone said it is recommend to have a car.

If she stays close by in a apartment, why would she need a car, can someone please explain? or provide your opinion please.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance:-)
