Have a dinner party for a birthday tomorrow night for 6. Not happy with where I made the reservation. This is a group of women in their 40s with varying income levels but we try to go somewhere nice. Some are very snobbish about it being sophisticated with a cool vibe and great food. Others throwing out restaurant row. Trying to keep it reasonable yet posh/cool from the teens to 50s as some women will commute home by train. Some are adventurous eaters but American or European safest. I could use help! I will call places direct to see if they can get us in.
