purpleline assault

Today, at 10:20 Am a man boarded my purple line car, number 5490 linden bound. At Main, he boarded through the emergency exit and headed straight towards a group of 4 that was sat silently in the middle section of the train. He yelled in a man's face, then a woman's, then abruptly got up to head towards a guy standing at the door.

He got to the guy at the door, yelled "Where is it? " twice before suddenly slapping the phone from the man's hand. The man that was assaulted said something "that was unnecessary" and left as the train parked. The dude that hit him and harassed others left through the next emergency exit.

The train then parks at main, and the conductor seems to know he's up to something. He returns to our car, sitting next to the first couple he harassed. I moved a few seats closer but did not intervene. He then sat next to an older lady and it triggered me, I got up and demanded he follow me off the train

He acted like he wanted to fight, so i dropped my 2 bags and removed my glasses to prepare for the fight. He got into a fighting pose, raising his forearms infront of his face to mimic a fighter but then quickly chose to cower and apologize. He literally sat on the floor and put his hands up like i was arresting him.

The conductor approached me, and she asked if anyone needed police. Nobody spoke, so i announced that he was yelling at people on the train and smacked someone's phone from their hand. She asked if the assaulted man was still aboard and i inform her he left without incident at the prior stop after the assault.

Another worker arrived to start to calm me and get between me and the assaulter, who had now exited the train and was cowering on the ground, staring at me as I yelled about him. A lot of people started looking from the train doors too, so i felt awkward and eventually just walked the rest of the way to work.

i did not hit him, and i made a report to the Cta. The worker called the police and they were waiting for them when i left. I have no idea what happened once i left, i hope that he continued to cower and did not go back to harassing those people. it was so insane to watch

A few years ago, a guy named "Luis" started working with me. One of the first things I noticed about Luis was that he followed out manager around everywhere. Every room she went, he followed behind. After a while, the manager did start to tell him to go back to work or remind him that he didn't have to follow her for every task

A year goes by and Luis isn't as close with the manager anymore. He got his brother a job with us and his brother somehow got him to act right. While his brother was here, Luis was not as much of a stalker with the manager. But now that his brother left, he has resumed his stalking and it sucks.

Luis has break at 11:30 am. He purposely waits until 11:50 because he knows thats a time he can get the female manager completely alone, because he scared off her former bestfriend Markus. Markus refuses to be in the break room when Luis is there, and now I do too.

The thing is, Luis also stays 4 hours past his shift to further stalk the manager. She likes him so she doesn't mind, but it's blatant and odd. Luis' shift ends at 1:30pm and he stays until 5pm every single day just to be beside the manager

The manager doesn't come on Mondays, so Luis leaves at 11:30 am. So he stays for 4 hours past his shift every single day the manager is here, yet leaves 3 hours earlier when she's not around.

its not my business but he is isolating and alienating her. i just hope he never decides to truly take advantage of that once he's successfully removed all her other friends from the schedule.

he also only whispers to her and tickles her. they rarely talk aloud when people are around. everything is so secretive and the manager has a boyfriend so it makes it so much more awkward to watch unfold
