I bought tickets for the Malie Donn show through Eventbrite because I trusted the platform.

After purchasing, I later got an email saying the tickets were invalid due to an “unauthorized seller.” I still went to the event hoping it would be resolved, but at the door I was told my name was not in the system and I could not enter.

The organizers said there had been a major ticket scam affecting multiple buyers. Despite this, there was no real support or solution offered on the spot, and I was told to dispute the charge through my payment provider instead.

I also contacted Eventbrite multiple times and did not get meaningful help.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with Eventbrite tickets or third-party sellers on the platform?
