So I'm aware of cast speed increases only affecting the startup so naturally it would be better to use single cast spells that do not chain. From this I thought it would be great for dragon communion spells but I've seen conflicting reports with the wiki saying only greyolls roar is affected but some people saying all are affected especially the named breaths so some clarity regarding this would be very much appreciated.

Regarding my build I'm going for a RL200 glass cannon dragon/ monstrosity themed arcane hybrid caster build using the Rock Heart. I'll be using occult beast claws for melee damage and the mobility. The incantations i was planning on using to fit the theme are :
a named breath, greyolls roar, dragon claw and maw, bloodflame talons, pest threads and possibly the crucible tail.
So would cast speed be worth the 22 extra points in Dex(keeping it at 18 otherwise for build variety) and the talisman slot(or just the talisman)? I plan to use Flocks Canvas, Blue dancer and roar medallion for reference.
