I had the CertMaster curriculum and lab for CySA+ and I thought it did not expire until the end of August and to my shocking surprise, it was expired on me on May 1st. That was a bit of a gut punch. I tried to reach out to CompTIA support to see if they will extend it for me since I was already 50% done with it and as of this writing I have not heard back from them.

What alternatives are there that people can vouch absolutely helped them pass the CySA+ exam?

I applied to what looked like a legitimate engineering role on LinkedIn. The application flow routed me through a company called Micro1, with communication coming from Crossing Hurdles.

After asking about payment terms, I was told:

In other words, the “evaluation” requires doing work before any contract, pay rate, or agreement is in place.

This was never made clear in the job listing.

The language strongly suggests this is AI training / assessment work presented as a hiring step for an engineering role.

I’m posting this so other engineers don’t sink hours into unpaid tasks thinking it’s part of a real interview.

If you see roles that route you into “AI evaluation,” “qualification tasks,” or “assessment work” before any contract or pay discussion — be cautious and ask about compensation first.

Hey guys, I have gone from obtaining my CompTIA Network+, Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, I was going to go for CySA+ but CompTIA pulled the rug out from under me, for months it said I had my curriculum until 8/31 and today they took it away from me, so its back to one of my original plans which was AWS Solutions Architect, is Tutorials Dojo still good for that? I ask because I tried CCNA and everyone waxed poetic about Boson and Boson was a waste of time and money, it will prepare you to learn to be a cisco network administrator, but it will not prepare you for the actual CCNA exam...anyway, am I in good hands with TutorialsDojo for AWS SAA?

I have a quick question regarding standard candidate submission practices and wanted to get your perspective.

In a recent interaction with a couple of recruiters, I was asked to provide sensitive identifiers (DOB and last 4 of SSN) prior to any formal onboarding or secure portal access. I wanted to confirm what the typical process is for those of you here that may be recruiters.

I remember the process being more structured, so I just wanted to sanity-check what the correct workflow is.
