WIP. Nearly done but she’s still rough.

As the title says, why won’t GW take the 5 minutes it would take to fix krieg’s only named character? He’s an absolutely beautiful model with garbage rules. I’ve used him a lot out of pure stubbornness. He’s not good. He needs dmg 2 and maybe a 12”’order range instead of 6”. This would be a bare minimum fix. In my opinion his unit, death riders, also need to be tougher. Like a 5+ or 6+ FNP. Or make them T5. They need to be the slower but tougher cavalry compared to the glass cannon raw damage of rough riders. If they were tougher and Dreir was damage 2 with a better order range then he would be usable. Regardless of my desired fixes, why won’t they at least drop his points? I’ve never seen him run in a single GT winning list. It’s kind of obvious he has trash rules. Shouldn’t GW support characters better?

So I posted a few days ago looking for paint scheme suggestions. I think I found something pretty close. It’s Thunderhawk blue with drakenhof wash (watered down), with Fenrisian Grey on the front lapels and cuffs. Then washed the armor with sector rust and then the rest of the body with goon’s grime oil wash.

I found these guys online and thought they looked cool. How does the paint scheme look?

As the title says, I am trying to match this color. I’ve liked it for a while and have played around with some schemes. The pictures of my model show Tyrian Navy from army painter over a grey and white base coat, with Son of Horus painted over in a thin layer. It’s then washed with Goon’s Grime. Any idea to make it look better? Or some different colors to try?
