Just a few hours with a knife, some glue, and some plasticard (and a bunch of milliputti). This was a fun way to spend a sunday afternoon. Quite proud of this one.
So the units I already have are the lemon russ tank, kasrkin, krieg combat engineers, command squad. Don't really know anything about the game just looking to get started. I also want the majority of my army to be krieg but think it would be fun to have some until to mix it up.
Like the title says, the fist has an objectively better stat line in every single aspect which is a shame since I think it looks worse than the power sword. Is this intentional or likely to change?
Anyone know a good method for kitbashing a squad of Krieg Grenadiers I was planning to use the new combat engineers as the base for a kitbash
I've done quite some theory crafting with a krieg army some time ago, but now with 11th I don't know if my plans are any good anymore. So I have about 30 guardamen, a chimera and some possible imperial agents thar I could hire. Also quite some sob-modells that I also could hire. My idea is to get 10 more guards for 2 teams of 20., and perhaps 20 more for a third team. I want to get an engineersquad with an attached tech-priest, a 10 man death rider squad with dreir attached. I have also toyed with the idea of having a kasrkin unit kitbashed with 2 boxes of engineers and kasrkin to get the right looks.
My idea with the kaskins is to also add leader and/or support for them to be in a chimera and drop them off and trying to dish out hurt to the opponents hard to kill armors, and kind of the same with the engineers.
I would love to have one of the superheavies as a centerpiece tank since we don't have many spectacular models per say in the army. I love the trench warfare looks, but a nice big baddy would just feel so good. Wich one would you recommend in that case?
Then the other stuff, I love the looks of the new vehicles, so maybe put one or two of them in there. But that is just for flavor. I really would like to have a couple of tanks or so. And ofc some artillery, would that be best with basilisks or the krieg teams? Perhaps som sentinels, armored or just scouts?
PS. I would love to put some comissars and perhaps wheeled armor in there (I would love to have kitbashed tauroxes with wheels but don't know how good they would compare to just the basic chimera)

Painted up the miniature of the month from tiny legends. He is really cute. Was also a paint scheme test Model for my grenadier killteam conversion. Magnetized him to sit on my magnetic miniature shelve, I really adore him.

After almost one month of painting, I finally finished my death korps of Krieg unit. I am really happy about the result and I can’t wait to be finally able to play them !

Wip just gotta put more highlights on their tubes, their gloves (150 fingers give or take holy hell) and retouch some of the metallic edge highlights, a couple of odds and ends, varnish of course, and I think after that they're done!
Hello! I recently got into the Death Korps due to a Wrath and Glory game I took part in some months ago (I wanted to make a guardsman, and the ones present in the story were Krieg and Steel Legion, so I flipped a coin lmao), and I'm wondering which books are worth reading/I should check out.
The ones I have so far are Krieg, Death Rider, Dead Men Walking and a short story called Less Than Human that I gave a read over, and I'm wondering what other books I should add to this. I'm really enjoying the lore so far.
As an aside, have a model I've attempted to paint. Apologies if there's a lot of posts like this.
Some finishing touches are still needed on a few, but it's finally ready just in time for a new requisition of a Centaur and some Hippogryphs
Was tired of looking at blank grey tanks and finished up their current motor pool to be table ready. The Dorn and LR Vanquisher both need the dirt and grime added and i somehow lost the heavy flamer for the Exterminator but they are ready to purge some foes!
I've build a stupid amount of krieg for over the last year and finally got round to painting my first squad. Typically it's my one non official squad but ogryns just have a special place from my childhood 40K memories.

Doesn't matter which shop in EU, Krieg are impossible to be found. Only option i have is Ebay or similar from UK with very inflated price, No CP, No Command squad, no artillery and so on.
How do you guys menage to find Kriegs to buy?
Am i missing some kind of great big shop in europe that sells online?

So I don't actually play Death Korps (I guess I'm Krieg curious) but I'm reading Vraks and have been googling ranks and models, and it doesn't look like the quartermaster is still a thing...
Still need to complete one set of backpacks, finalize my Deathriders, but there was something nice about having majority of everything painted for one last game. Forgot to post back when I took the pictures.
