HH Leman Russ - paint the trim or dont paint the trim?
If you were to be using the HH Leman Russ in your DKOK army, how would you be approaching the trim on that model? Paint it in a contrasting colour, or just go with the same as the rest of the tank?
I currently have a bunch on my painting desk, nicely base coated and awaiting detailing- but Im torn on the trim.
On one hand, I wouldnt go all out and use a brass or gold colour, as you would in HH itself for this model, but Im considering a more subtle colour, steel metallic perhaps. Or just leave it as the same colour as the rest of the tank and pick out rivets etc during weathering.
If you have used the HH Leman Russ, what did you go with?

I like the og leontus model and i enyojed painting the mini, but he always felt a bit un-krieg-y. So i came up with a new Command HQ. Hope you like it.

WIP Mortar Team
Finally back to painting. Improved colour sheme on custom mortar team. Looking for C&C, exspecially the base. It looks too dry and two dimensional imo but wet effects like AK Puddles just don't seem to look natural in such shallow ponds. Using wet mud, with steel legion drab, drybrush w a karak stone/steel legion mix and washed with a brown oil wash and some ak puddle effect. 50mm bases certainly don't help...

Sorting out my units
Just need a little help I have 4 units of 10 krieg infantry, 2 groups of 10 have 2x snipers and 2x grenade launchers, the other has 2x meltas and 2x (edit) Plasmas. I am looking at combining them into 2 groups of 20 under 1 command squad (attached) each, am I better to mix them up so each 20 man group has snipers, grenades, meltas and flamers or keep them as more specialised 20 man groups?
