Does this paint scheme work, or have I sacrificed too much readability?
Decided to repaint my Krieg models and go for a more grimdark look than they had before. Always wanted black trench coats but would appreciate a second opinion.

I didn’t want my power klaw bosses to be mono pose so had to sculpt quite a bit of shoulder, concerned it looks unnatural. Second opinion appreciated!
I asked for opinions yesterday on putting a Guardsman in the power klaw, and some people wanted an update!
Should I drop this silly idea or commit to it?
Turns out plastic snaps easily so I had to extend and repair the cable on his powerclaw with Green stuff. Also turned out a little less Shakespearean (Hamlet) than I feared at first.
And now it’s starting to feel like he might be auditioning for Hamlet
I don’t think I’ve spent this long on a single mini before, learned a lot and just a very rewarding experience. I love this hobby!
The land raider has so many flat empty surfaces its almost a blank canvas. Since BT are fanatics I had the idea of scribbling ”religious” texts on the hull, and here we are. There are still some empty spaces left, but I think it could get messy if I overdo the text-part.
if anyone has an idea and/or opinion I’d welcome suggestions for filling the remaining spaces (aside from the many more upcoming obligatory purity seals)!
Couple days ago I asked for advice regarding the two Necromunda Ambots I snagged at a local shop. Been on the fence building either Meganobs or Warboss/Big mek in power armor with the new codex around the corner. Bit the bullet and went for rule of cool. Also my first ever bad moons-ork. Tomorrow my nerves will be tested freehanding shit without ruining the armor.
Cheers!
It turns out that using a dedicated camera and natural light produces much better photos :o!
the banner almost took my sanity to finish
The base is temporary, didn’t turn out the way I envisioned
Dipping my toes preparing waiting for 11th and Armageddon launch box. Loads of fun getting to paint bright colors coming from DKOK & Black Templars
I suspect some of the criticism stems from the fact that this is a remake of an older game. The amount that has been preserved while also being refined and improved is honestly impressive and, in my opinion, a major positive.
That said, one recurring frustration across several quest chains is being told to go talk to Character X or Y, only to find that they may have relocated to a completely different part of the area or map without any indication or warning. I recently spent the better part of an hour running around the old mine looking for a character before finally giving up and googling it, only to discover that the NPC had apparently moved outside the mine since our last interaction.
It’s a small thing, but it can make quest progression feel unnecessarily tedious and frustrating.
Delivered the letter and was told to go see Torroz for my reward. The way is blocked by an invisible wall though. Is this a bug?
Otherwise things are going great
Still waiting for the upgrade sprue so I can switch out the stubber on top!
