Been playing a lot of solo arrangements the last 3-4 months. It seems like there is roughly two roads to go with solo guitar: play the tune rubato with pick or play it in time with fingers. With ballads it seems natural to play it in rubato and with pick. Also nice occasion to throw in some lines in between the melody.

Solo arrangement of Summertime. Quite fun fun to play solo, I really like how the melody leaves a lot of space for walking bass lines in between
