im new to the EV thing. we’re planning a road trip from that’s about 300 miles in pleasant California weather. we figured we will need to stop halfway and try a dc fast charge for about an hour to make it the rest of the way. how much charge would that get us (generally speaking)?
this is my first EV. from everything I’ve read online, all info says to only charge to about 80% regularly because it affects the health of the battery. however, Nissan says that their battery has some kind of cap or special feature that allows to charge to 100% without damaging longevity of battery. is this true? are you charging to 100%?
I just bought a 25 ariya evolve+ pre-owned. they only gave me one key fob and said that I would have to purchase the other fob separately if I wanted one. it also seems that the adapter for the charger is there but not the charger itself. what all is included in terms of accessories? I want to make sure I’m not missing anything else. this is in USA.
there’s two Ariyas that I’m looking at. one is a 24 engage+ AWd the other a 25 engage+ AWD so same trim level. the 24 model has 10k miles and the 25 only 2k. I’m suspicious as to why someone would sell a car with so little miles (it was a lease too). the price difference is 2k. I drove the 25 and really liked it. I’ve heard safety ratings were better in 24 but haven’t figured out why. would love your input.
