cursed with deep voice
i hate my deep bass voice with my entire heart, it is truly a curse.
i'm not blaming it on my lack of ability to sing, but it does make it incredibly difficult, and i cant really sing high like i would love to. take my favorite bands: hail the sun, sleeping with sirens, pierce the veil. all their singers have such beautiful voices that sit in a much higher range than mine, and i cant sing like them without straining myself. i have done just about everything there is to do (as per youtube advice standards) except get a vocal coach which honestly im considering now. I just cannot get my voice to be higher when i sing and it sucks.
im in a band and we're working on an EP right now. problem is, i want to sing higher but i just cannot. if anyone has any advice id love to hear it, or if anyone can relate to me i'd love to hear about your point of view.
also: anyone saying "just sing in choir" "just sing a different genre" HELL NO!! i love screamo, i will never stop loving high pitched singers, and i will never love singing in a low pitch like country or some other BS.
