Hello Brandon Sanderson fans, I need your help!!! So I’ve been trying to contact Brandon Sanderson (longshot), or someone on his team (hopeful), to get my long term partner a gift from his favorite author for his graduation. I’ll copy and paste my message to him here for some context…
Hello Mr. Sanderson! My name is —-, and my dear partner of 4 years, ——, is a HUGE fan of yours. Let me tell you, I haven’t read your books (no offense I’m sure they’re fantastic) before, but I feel like I have the way he talks about them. He has reread your stormlight archives series so, so many times. Everytime life gets hard he pulls out those books (especially right now). Aside from his love for you and your books, —— is genuinely a good and kind human. Everyday he is putting others before himself, all while putting himself through school. The best story to describe —- is that when a homeless man asked him what time it was, he immediately gave him his watch. —- is graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Biology this spring from the ——. We are all so proud of him, but just this week his mom was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. His mom is his rock, she and her husband have been teachers for over 20 years and made him who he is today. Of course this sudden change in life has made him put this great accomplishment of graduating on the back burner. However I still hope to be able to gift him something he will remember forever, because he truly deserves it. If there’s any way you can send anything at all, it would make him so so excited! I swear he feels immense gratitude even when I pick him up a snack on the way home. This would be such a gift to him, so if there’s any way, here’s my address.
