I’m a father of two and built an indie iOS app after too many sick-kid nights 😅

Launched yesterday, reached #25 in the Medical category on the App Store and got the first 2 trial users.

Be honest — useful idea or just sleep-deprived dad coding?

launched my first indie iOS app today after 9 months of building it during evenings/weekends.

its a family health journal app called MediBoo and somehow it even reached #25 in Medical on the Polish App Store for a moment today which honestly felt surreal 😅

but Product Hunt has been super confusing for me so far.

I kept getting notifications about new upvotes and comments, but publicly on the launch page they either appeared much later or still dont appear at all.

for example about an hour after launch i got notification about a new discussion comment + another upvote, but even now the public launch page still basically shows almost nothing.

is this normal on Product Hunt launch days????????

spam filtering? delayed moderation? caching?

genuinely curious because this is my first launch ever lol.....

launched my first indie ios app today 😅

its called MediBoo. the idea actually came from my wife after another “wait did we already give him medicine or not?” night with our kids.

built it mostly after work during evenings/weekends while working full time as ios dev.

somehow it even hit #25 in Medical on Polish App Store for a moment today and got first 2 trial users which honestly feels kinda unreal after all those months.

also learned today that Product Hunt is weird lol. was getting notifications about comments/upvotes that never actually showed publicly on the page.

launch days are chaos i guess
