Did she agree to go out with me or not? (21M / 21F)

I met a girl at work and asked her out. She replied, "We'll see," gave me a little smile, and right after that I asked if I could text her on WhatsApp. She said yes. When I texted her and she replied, I noticed that she had probably saved my contact, because her name only showed up afterward when I went to save hers.

At first, I was really excited and interpreted that as a possible "yes." But since I’m pretty pessimistic, I still doubt whether she actually wants to go out with me or if she was just being polite. I've seen a lot of stories from women on Reddit saying they agreed to dates even though they didn't really want to go. I don't know… I've kind of already given up on going out with her because I don’t want to get hurt. And there are probably a lot of other guys interested in her too; it feels like absurd competition. Now the situation feels bad for me because I'm interested in her, but she probably isn’t interested in me. Sad.

It's all pretty ambiguous. Now that I'm analyzing the facts, I realize that it was neither a rejection nor an acceptance. So, whatever.

TL;DR: I (21M) asked a coworker (21F) out. She didn't clearly accept or reject, just said "we'll see." I'm unsure if she's actually interested or just being polite, and I'm overthinking it.
