I have this prop/accessory I am currently using for an OC in Larp. For background the character in a cherry tree/human hybrid and I envision the flowers as his hair pulled up through the brim of the hat. As you can imagine wearing this full ensemble can be quite taxing on the head especially coming up in the end of a weekend. My question is, any good tips on where to start making a structure like this but only the flowers?

The hat itself is made of the brim, with a ball cap washing skeleton secured to it, and the flower strands then secured to that.
