Hello!

Hello guys, I have a 2009 Toyota Camry with 270k miles. Its hybrid battery is starting to trigger check engine lights here and there, and it’s safe to say I’m probably going to need a new battery soon. I was wondering if you guys think it would be worth replacing it.
The car still drives amazing. It never hesitates to start, shifts very well, and everything else about it has been great. It’s been an incredibly reliable car.
I’m not in the best position financially to afford a whole new car, and I’ve seen that you can go to scrapyards, test hybrid batteries, and get one for around $300–600. I was wondering if that would be a good route, or if it would be better to start looking into a new car instead.
I’ve loved this car. It’s been amazing and still is I just don’t know what my best option is. TIA.
