So I currently make my candles using soy wax, but looking to change over to coconut-apricot wax. I read online that coconut-apricot is not good for pillar candles as they melt quicker - wondering if anyone has tried mixing this with eiter:
Natural rapeseed & coconut wax, OR
Soy wax
if yes, what were your results? Did it hold its shape?

Hi! I am building a DTC business at the moment, and am looking for advice on trademarking. My business name is unique, with no existing trademarks in the categories I would be filing under, therefore I know it will get accepted. I've also checked the name in both the Canadian and American registers - all good here.
However, given I havent even validated the product offering yet (i.e. we are not live with products, im still working with manufacturers), it is worth trademarking now or later?

Hi! Looking for opinions/lived experience of people starting businesses with a co-founder vs solo? I’m at the start of my business journey, and am currently building out the business plan (including brand vision, products etc).
My background is in finance (30yo, working approx 8 years) so I have no idea about the branding/marketing side. The person that I’m thinking to pitch to has marketing experience, and is extremely creative so my view is she can manage that side.
I know solo entrepreneurship is so difficult so considering this as a strong option but part of me also wonders if I should go it alone given it’s my idea?
Any thoughts are welcomed!
