Shrinkflation has gotten North Ave Candles (etsy) on my naughty list. they just reduced their size of candles to a smaller single wick version and i'd like to know about candles of this quality from other candle lovers. Thanks for any links or recommendations.

The subreddit’s rules regarding self promotion, direct advertising, givaways etc won’t be strict here. Basically anything is allowed here. As long as it’s legal, and no spamming (multiple comments can be ok, while spamming would be worse).

Preferably, it should be related to candles, wax melts or accessories (such as candle warmers or candle holders) in some way.

Examples of what you can share here:

What candles would y’all recommend for someone who is really bougie?

I get why someone buys a scented candle - they like the scent. Why do folks buy unscented candles?

What’s your favorite after work or bath time candle? Or a candle for any other time you unwind. I’m looking for something for when I want to relax.

I’ve always used soy wax candles; the shop says this material is harmless to pets, but I’m not sure. So I only use them in the bathroom where my cats never visit.

Anyone here keep cats or dogs at home? What kinds of candles do you guys use?

Im sensitive to candles that seem to produce a lot of pollutants in the air. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for candles that burn cleaner or any tips for finding candles that don't produce a lot of soot.

Hey guys, I figured this is a good place to ask. I’m looking for candles with interesting scents (usually like spicy or earthy scents but I’m always open to something new) preferably from indie brands. I’m not super pressed on price, but under $45 for a 7-8oz candle is good with me.

I’m in the US so brands entire here or who ship to the US.

Favorite scent notes: black tea, cardamom, wood, pepper, musk, almond, moss
