Hey candle lovers, would like some advice here.
I’ve been putting out my candles using the wick dipper method but instead of an actual wick dipper I use a paper clip. Anywyas, I find that when I do this method, the wax gets all black and sooty, am I doing it correct or is this just how it is?
I’m burning a bath and body works candle and I trim the wick. Thanks!

I've been seeing an increased disgusting rise in racism towards primarily Indians and Black people. I was wondering if anyone can pitch in to their thoughts and discussion.
Why I'm asking is because as a Chinese who is in an interracial relationship, I'm not sure if traveling with somebody who has a darker complexion to China is safe for both them and for me.
There are a lof of nasty comments online (not sure about in real life because I don't reside in China) about how interracial relationships (primarily non-white) is seen as being traitorous towards the Chinese identity and honestly a lot of threats.

More than a year ago, I started getting recurrent UTIs, and the strain was E.coli. I believe I was put on medication like 3-4 times within the year and every time after sexual activities the UTI would come back.
I have been abstinent for about a year due to fear of another UTI, however my bladder/urethra has been in discomfort ever since.
Symptoms are:
- inflamed feeling in bladder
- sensitivity and inflammation feeling in urethra
- sometimes frequent urination
I don’t have a UTI now and haven’t ever since my last time. And these symptoms come and go.
Anyone else?
Anyone else have this? I'm allergic to fruits like: jackfruit, cherry, peach, dragon eye and lychee
everytime I get them, my stomach gets REALLY bad cramps (and skin rash) and pain for hours plus diarrhea if bad enough... I developed these symptoms last year, anyone else have these and how do I fix it if I can even fix it
I recently did my base with the Shiseido syncro foundation (old package) with florasis balm concealer and out-of-office liquid highlighter. I applied the liquid highlighter after the balm concealer and that make my skin really cakey. I was wondering if liquids should be applied before balms or if they do not mix, thanks.
