How is Simic Ouroboroid / Simic Midrange in the Standard (or Pioneer) meta these days?

I was looking at some recent lists of Simic Ouroboroid, and noticed them running a lot of cards I really enjoy like [[Pensive Professor]], [[Silent Hallcreeper]], [[Enduring Curiosity]] and the classic [[Quantum Riddler]].

How viable are the newer versions of the deck in the format right now? Do you have experience with the deck and does it perform relatively well?

I'm not looking to get high on the ladder, I just want a deck that is viable enough and wins enough that it feels fun to play.

Hi! This game has been popping up once in a while and has caught my interest. Similar games I have played are Vermintide 2, Darktide, and Deep Rock Galactic. I especially loved Deep Rock. I liked the chaotic carelesness in that game. And fun weapon choices.

How would you compare this to the games I have played? Or how and why would you recommend this game?

How is the social aspect executed? Do you need to use voice chat to play effectively or can you do fine without? I liked how well DRG works without ever speaking a word.

How is the performance? My laptop only has a gpu equivalent to gtx1650. Could I run the game serviceably at 1080p?

I'm thinking of crafting one of these two decks next. Which one do you find more fun to play?

I think the individual cards in Selesnya [[Collected Company]], interest me more, but the gameplan at least looks like it might be a bit monotonous. Meanwhile the individual cards in Golgari Midrange aren't as interesting to me, but the deck looks a bit more fluid with it's gameplan.

How do the two decks currently fare in the meta, and how stabile do you think their spot in the meta is? Which one might be safer and more likely to hold their relevance?

I have an old save from early access. I think last I played was a bit right after Ares was added. I have beaten both paths multiple times on that save.

Should I continue that save, or start a new one to experience the game in a more complete way from the beginning?
