Currently my display and some more restyles I’ve worked on! I eventually want to get some chains and other accessories and add some more details to their outfits. I want to make Catty a new outfit bc hers was the first I made and not so great. I need to make an outfit for Abbey who is stored away for now and I want to make draculara a different shirt and for anyone who saw my Frankie restyle I made a new skirt and gave their old one I made to Lagoona!

My hyper fixation currently is hand sewing my dolls clothes. I was getting a bit overwhelmed by my collection and I’m a bit of a weirdo about too many colors. My doll shelf was feeling messy and not cohesive so I’m restyling my dolls! Kinda fitting them more into my personal aesthetic! So here’s Cleo!!

My hauntlywood Frankie’s (stupid f^?k!£n poly) hair was torn up on the ends so I boil washed their hair, chopped and styled it then while it was still wet I absolutely drenched it in hairspray and I’m LOVING the results so much, I’ve also been obsessively restyling my dolls, feel like Frankie is missing something but I will figure it out eventually!

Just picked hand sewing back up and this is what I’ve done with my limited supply so far! I haven’t done this in like 13 years so I’m getting back into the groove but I’m having so much fun! Wanting to get into rerooting and customizing more eventually!

Chopped up an old sweater and shirt and made catty a new outfit. Absolutely love this doll but hate her clothing options, I haven’t hand sewn since I was a kid, got a spark of inspiration and threw this together, used yarn as an accessory because I mean… she is a cat! I used to make (not so good) customs as a kid and I’m thinking of rerooting her and giving her a new face up! Any tips welcome 🫶🏼

I love this line so much! I need more “deluxe” lines like this! I’ve restyled my Cupid a bit to match the other ghouls better. I kinda want a second Frankie because I love them so much! I love the use of black in this line which is why I dyed cupids romper!

I’m in the middle of moving so I’m having to pack my dolls up and even tho it’s just for a couple days I’m having so much anxiety about putting them away! I have them all covered with rags in between them so no one scratches against each other but it’s making me very sad! And I’m worried about them smushing one another and things getting weird. I had to move a bunch because of instability as a kid and lost all of my G1 dolls and most of my belongings by the time I was 16. I’m now 26 and just started collecting again a few months ago. These are my favorite little hobby and seeing them all put away has me F’d up. I think I’m having a bit of a trauma response and my boyfriend keeps reassuring me I’ll be okay and it’s only for a few days but I’m scared of them getting damaged and I miss my pretty little set up. I hoping in our new place I can have an even better display :) how do y’all deal with having to put dolls away? I currently own 28 dolls :)

I have successfully dyed her romper black and thank you to everyone for the advice! I love her so much more now. Probably will paint more details for her on her other items but I’m in the middle of packing up for moving at the end of this week (hence the dolls behind her) I feel like she matches the rest of the line better now!
