Hi everyone, posting for a friend.
She applied for her PGWP but unfortunately forgot to include her language test results in the application. After waiting around 2 months, she received a refusal.
She called IRCC several times, and the agents told her to reapply from scratch by mail, which she already did. IRCC also confirmed on the phone that they received her paper application.
In the meantime, she stopped working after the refusal and is now very worried about losing her job. She is wondering if she can start working again once she receives the automatic WP letter saying she is under maintained status.
She is also unsure if she should submit a reconsideration request at the same time, or if reapplying by mail is enough.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows what would be the best option? Thank you.

Someone I know received a CAQ refusal because she was part-time for one semester. She’s now trying to understand what her options are.
Does she still have chances to stay in Canada, especially in Quebec, to continue her studies? Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed to fix their status or continue studying?

Quelqu’un que je connais a reçu un refus de CAQ parce qu’elle a été à temps partiel pendant un semestre. Elle aimerait comprendre quelles sont ses options maintenant.
Est-ce qu’elle a encore des chances de rester au Canada, surtout au Québec, pour continuer ses études ? Est-ce que certaines personnes ont déjà vécu une situation similaire et réussi à régulariser leur dossier ?
