Finally got my MRI!
It doesn't change how I feel physically , still in a shit ton of pain, but it does help mentally knowing that I have proof and it's not just tight glute muscles like many people were suggesting.

Putting in a drivers side XSE seat should be a direct bolt in right? and since there is power to the heated seats, I should be able to make an adapter to power the power adjustable seats right?
Just want to explore all options if my body doesn't get better and I can't comfortably drive the GRC anymore. I have to use two pillows to drive and its still painful. I'm hoping with the power adjustable seats I would be able to fine tune the seat settings.
Right now I own a GR Corolla. I love the car so much, but I can barely make it to work. The pain is the worst in teh mornings. The pain was so much I started to hyper ventilate, almost having a panic attack and fainting. I had to call *Borat voice* my wife to help ground myself for the last 5 min before I got to the work parking lot. I'm assuming crossovers would be the best for egress/ingress. I need headroom too, even though I'm only 5'6" i have the seat cranked up that my head is almost at the ceiling. I use a seat wedge and was thinking of using a small pillow for lumbar support. I even though about going in an hour later, or waking up and hour earlier just to give me time to stretch and warm up the leg for teh 30min drive.
I have some appointments over the next few weeks to see what is causing the sciatica. If the mornings are like this for a few weeks longer I'll probably trade in my car for somethign that is more manageable for me.
Buddy got me my first mod, a billetworks knob and a much needed hoodie.
Back story: its been over a month since the pain started. It first started as just some lower back pain from nothing, and it eventually turned in to sciatica. I call the the ER telehealth doc and he said to go into the ER to get a scan. Painfully drove an hour to get the ER and the Doc told me i don't need a scan and that I had a scan from last year that looked fine, and its my glute muscle pusing up on the nerve. A week later I say my regular doctor and he said the same thing, he told me if it doest get any better he thinks i should request a scan. Since then it felt like it was recovering, albiet slowly, like trying to finish a mile by moving an inch a day. I ordered a tens machine and used it last night for about 10 min. It felt great, i felt like the pain was 3/10. I was able to stretch my legs and bend over to pick things up no issue. I woke up today feeling 9/10 sometimes even 10/10 levels of pain. I woke up and did a heating pad for about 30min and even used the tens machine for 30min, but it didnt help much. My wife heard me making noises in the bathroom cause it hurt so bad to sit down to take a shit, and it was even worse to get up to wipe. I try my best to get moving so it wont hurt much driving 30min to work.
Is there anything I can do to make mornings better? Should I better hydrate before bed? Am I even getting better? Should I go back to the doc to get that scan? I don't know what to do anymore, I just hope the mornings dont get anymore worse.
My meds look like this:
4am - 500mg acetaminophen
6:30 - 800mg ibuprofen, & magnesium glycinate and cucurmin supplement
8am - Pregablin
9:30 - 500mg acetaminophen
12 - 800mg ibuprofen, & magnesium glycinate and cucurmin supplement
3pm - 500mg acetaminophen
6pm - 800mg ibuprofen, & magnesium glycinate and cucurmin supplement + my cholestero medicine
before bed - pregablin and a muscle relaxer
The side effects of the pregablin and muscle relaxer is dry mouth, which I have bad, could these meds be dehydrating me at night and thats why the pain is more in the morning?
