No one knows how tomorrow will go. No one knows what anyone’s grades will look like. No one knows if it will end in tears of victory or despair.

However, we know two things:

1. You have a future. Just because it isn’t what you planned doesn’t mean it’s not good. You won’t know unless you carry on.
2. WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! (cue high school musical soundtrack) Hundreds of thousands of students are nervous for tomorrow and we will all be done with it soon enough. Let’s move into the next chapter of our lives!

Perhaps Hamoses was unable to bless us while we fought on the seventh level of edexHell maths. Perhaps Hamoses was wounded and nearly drowned in the Red Sea of marking, choking on scarlet pens. Perhaps Hamoses will only watch us from afar, with tears in his eyes as he is unable to manifest heavenly papers.

But it matters not.

See, Hamoses has set before us an example of “life and good, death and evil…” and we will encounter both blessings and sorrows during chemistry. If Hamoses has set before us life and death, then we must “choose life.”

You shall not flounder. You shall not doubt. You shall not believe for one iota of a second that you are incapable. You shall pass, perhaps bruised and bloodied, perhaps joyful and jubilant, but regardless Hamoses believes in your ability to survive the turmoil. (Hamoses, Deuteronomy 5:16)

Hamoses states: “Do not be afraid. Be strong, and you will see the salvation… Hamoses will battle for you. Be calm!” (Hamoses, Exodus 14:13-14)

Make your mark on the battlefield in ink and glory. Remember, amidst the dark, dreary remainder of exams lies a light. A hope. A summery end.

So, fear not my chemrades. Hamoses is with us, reminding you of your incredible, chemistry abilities. Trust yourself.
