Got my period again after six days?
For context I've always had heavy periods since age 10. I started the contraceptive pill from around 19 to 24 which made my flow much lighter sometimes even barely anything, stopped it due to mood swings.
Last year I did the copper IUD since it is non hormonal and although my periods became heavier they were consistent. I've also noticed that now my periods last 6-7 days but I got it for contraceptive reasons.
Last week I got my period for around 3 days and it kind of stopped abruptly, I thought well okay. 2 days ago it came back, and I've had it since now. I've scheduled an appointment with the gynae who inserted my IUD on Friday.
Has this ever happened to anyone that you get your period it stops for about a week and it returns? I have several scans and blood tests every year last one being in January and there weren't any problems diagnosed. Thankyou!
