As title states.

I bought an expensive trading card and it failed inspection. There was a condition discrepancy found by the authenticator that the seller didn't disclose and didn't take detailed pictures of.

I'm usually not a buster when it comes to ebay buying or caring too much about trading card condition but this was somewhat of an expensive purchase and now i feel as though I overpaid for the card. I was considering just sending back from the authenticator but I would still want the card in it's new found condition. Is there a way to negotiate price or ask for a small partial refund while at authenticator? I know you are able to send partial refunds on ebay but given i haven't accepted to recieve the card and it is still with the authenticator i wasn't sure how that works. I have bought other cards through the authentication system but have never sold anything through them.
