Job application rejected

Recently applied for a job that I have a very good track record in that area.

Don’t want to get too specific for obvious reasons.

My application form would have been very good with competencies demonstrated to high standard. I am professionally qualified and my degree is very closely related to what they specified. I have other qualifications also.

Its not the exact name of degree they outlined in job add, in my career to date I have worked in this area for other organisations and would have a good skill set and do the proposed job well.

I was told I have two days to appeal decision if I don’t agree.

I am thinking there is no point as if they don’t want me what’s the point. I’d love to hear if anyone got a view.

I think I’d be good at the job based on my past performance but it sucks not to even make it to interview!

This role is reasonably paid with good increments.
