I’m about to be hit with two under two in a couple of weeks and I was wondering what it’s like for families whose eldest goes to a nursery?

I get the impression that most two under two horror stories are often coming from SAHMs who have to juggle two kids at once with little or no support. That must be a whole other level of difficult!

I‘m lucky to live in a place where daycare costs are low and my almost 20 months old is loving her nursery. she‘s usually there from 9 to 4 and sometimes I keep her with me for an extra day, so we can hang out together. My partner’s work is more rigid and we don’t have any family nearby, so having a daycare is a blessing. My mat leave is quite generous too.

For those who have their eldest in the nursery, would you say that having kids so close to each other was more manageable? what was your schedule like? Was it easier to bond with your youngest? how did your eldest handle all the changes?

Very curious to know!
