Anyone have any advice for this road trip I’m going from Long Island to the Obx. It’s around 480 miles one way 8 ish hours. I plan on leaving early like 4 am. But for some reason I have anxiety over this trip. I have a newish car 2020 ford ranger just got oil change,inspection, everything. The last time I drove pretty far was from South Carolina up to New York around 15 hours in one day but only because our flight got cancelled and we had to be somewhere the next day. So it’s partially related to that why I hate driving for long times. Is 8 hours really that bad?
