I'm in San Diego county and it seems like there has been a surge in background checking even for temp jobs and even though my charge has nothing to do with basic warehouse work or making airplane parts or whatever, I cannot pass a background check. I've even gotten my charges dismissed and the court just flat out didn't file the motion and my lawyer is looking into it now, but I'm getting anxiety that it will even make any difference. Does anyone know where I should go? Or what I should do? I'm going back to community college, but it's not going to help with rent.
