Offering: Ukrainian (native) / English (C2-ish), Seeking: Spanish / French
Hi everyone,
I’m a man in my late 40s. I was born and raised in Kyiv, so Ukrainian is my native language. I’ve also been living in England for about 20 years, so while I’m not a native English speaker, I’m a very confident speaker and can help with English conversation as well. I can also share some cultural tips about life in the UK, not just the language itself.
I’m looking to practise Spanish and/or French. I don’t particularly mind which variety of Spanish or French you speak. I’m also happy to chat with non-native speakers, as long as your level is around B2 or higher. In that sense, it doesn’t even have to be a strict language exchange. I’m happy to just have conversations in French or Spanish with other learners too.
I’d prefer to talk to adults over 30. No upper age limit, of course.
A bit about me: I like languages, science, books, especially science fiction, and I’m mildly interested in chess, though I’m terrible at it. I’m also a parent, so I’m happy to chat about family and kids as well.
I’m normally available on weekday mornings, roughly from 9am to 12pm UK time.
