I work at a big box store. For the third time in the last 2 months I arrived to work and was greeted by a FOUL smell. After asking, I was told, like the first two times, “Oh, I think someone forgot to water the forklift battery?”

Can you guys tell me what the hell that means? Why does it smell so awful? Is this air toxic? (I have horrible history with olfactory migraines).

Thanks in advance and sorry for my general stupidity with this stuff.
