Penny items non returnable
I bought a serving tray for 1.50. Get home and read the back to find out it's not safe for food (decorative only) despite it being next to the plates.
I go to exchange it for just a pack of gum since I have no use for it. I'm not sure what the return policy is now, but it used to be even exchanges only. They tell me it's a "penny item" so they cant take it back.
I tell them I paid 1.50 for it? And no where on the receipt does it state some sort of policy. They said sorry it's Dollar Tree policy. Someone please explain because I paid 1.50 not a penny
I'm not going to go crazy over a dollar but it's about the principle
