Next watch choice? Update
Currently have a Rolex Root Beer GMT 16713 that my dad gave me, and a Casio (prior post made) I am looking for a new addition for a wedding watch sub $10K with at least 100M water resistance.
Tried on new watches today. Maybe it was just me, but everything was pretty underwhelming. It could have been the unenthusiastic service I got from cartier, IWC, and Rolex. The 1916 company was pretty good, and I liked those watches more.
The BB54 was nice—I like it a lot. I wish they had the BB36 in stock because I really want a slimmer height.
It could have also been the plastic over the cartier santos, but it felt really cheap. I did like the two tone more in person, but I had very high hopes for this watch, and I left Cartier feeling deflated.
The used Ronde solo was nice—not quite what I am looking for.
My question: have any of you felt that the service you got turned you off a watch you would have otherwise loved?

Kind of exasperated when I wanted to try on three different models. Maybe I just didn’t look like their usual buyer? I felt pretty deflated after the experience
