Toys/activities to have on hand for 9-12 year olds

This summer, my wife and I are hoping to have our niece (12, going into middle school) and nephew (9, going into 4th grade), over at least once a week. Whenever they are here they seem to have a good time since we have all the electronic devices they could ever want (oculus, ps5, switch, most streaming services, iPad, as well as their own phones) but I’m hoping to get some toys or activities that they keep at our house to use when they are here. I think a big area we are lacking in is things for them to do outside. We have a huge yard and live in a family friendly neighborhood so I’d like to encourage them to spend time playing outside this summer. What are some toys or activities you recommend I keep on hand, both indoor and outdoor.

For added context: We have no kids so we don’t have a lot of kid friendly things here but they love to play with any fidget toys or squishies that are part of my own collection. Our nephew still plays with toys (cars, action figures, building blocks) and likes crafting but struggles with structured activities where he has to follow directions like board games or things like lego sets. Our niece is growing out of toys but loves fidgets and makeup and does do better with things like Lego sets or crafts with instructions.
