I got these a year ago for my birthday. Over all I am very happy with them. They fit well and are pretty comfortable. My foot is on the wider side and I have plenty of room. They were comfortable right from the start like most Thursdays. When I first got them I was standing all day screen printing and they are pretty comfortable, but the boots are heavy and I am excited to take them off at the end of the day.

I have yet to clean and condition them beyond horse hair brush. They still feel supple and don’t show any signs of drying out. As you can tell they are pretty scuffed up, but nothing major.

As a comparison I have a pair of Captains that i’ve had six months longer and I just got a pair of Challengers. The Heritage Captains lean more towards the Captains. The break in is closer as well. The Challengers aren’t fucking around with the break in.

Other than wishing I had picked a different color and maybe getting the lug sole, I love them and I’d buy them again 100 times out of 100.

My wife got me Challengers! These were my “not going to get these in a million years” birthday request. I forgot these were horse butt. They are hard to get on but feel great once they are on. I’m going to get the instep stretched in hopes they are easier to put on. Pretty tuff.
