I'm thinking of pivoting to a career in the renewable energy sector and I'm currently considering doing the Renewable Engineering MSc at University of Aberdeen, but I'm not sure if having a background in civil engineering is going to hurt my prospects in the field. I have no experience in the area whatsoever.
I recently applied for a role with micro1 and today I woke up to an email from someone on the talent team informing me that I had been selected for the role. The email stated that I had to sign my contract, complete the KYC and reply to the email within 12 hours. However, due to time zone differences it was midnight when I received the email and I only saw it about 5 hours later. Although I was able to sign the contract and finish the KYC within the 12 hour limit, I realise my reply will likely be received on Monday(which is well past the 12 hour deadline) and I would like to know if this will affect my application/contract.
