Im getting let go because of lies
I started at Costco Australia in June as a Cashier Assistant, 4 weeks ago at my 60 day check in, my probation was extended and I was put on a plan, at the time I said that the comments on my report didn’t sound like me at all. For the last 4 weeks it’s been infuriating them saying things that just aren’t true about me not putting in effort ect in these meetings when all the feedback I get from supervisors , coworkers, and members is overwhelmingly positive and I’m actively trying to improve everyday. Basically today they’ve said they’re firing me in 2 weeks, and I’m so incredibly disheartened considering all the positive feedback I am getting to my face. This may be a stretch but I’m beginning to suspect somethings up as I don’t see these supervisors as being two faced saying one thing to me and the complete opposite to the report. In every meeting this supervisor Bethany (not real name) is there who I didn’t think liked me from the start, she’s oven been there on the floor with me when I get good feedback and today when she took me to the meeting I was in the middle of filling the dead space without customers getting boxes and collecting go-backs. Is there anything I can do it took me so long to get this job because the Australian job market is fucked and if I lose this I’m basically done.
