has anyone had an awake revision before my surgeon told me im gonna be awake and he’s just gonna numb me lol i asked if i could be put to sleep instead and he said id probably have to pay extra anesthesia/facility fees, there wasnt really much time to talk about it bc i think he had a surgery coming up so i had to go but i still see him again before the revision and he said he’ll explain everything better then 😭 now im nervous lol

hello, i have a follow up with my surgeon this week and we’re gonna be talking about a revision. before surgery he told me i had asymmetry and originally the plan was to use two different implant sizes to help fix it. then the day of surgery he changed the plan and decided to use the same size implants, which i agreed to and trusted. now that everything has dropped and settled, my right boob looks a lot smaller than my left. it’s not a small difference either, it’s really noticeable and it’s the same issue i wanted fixed in the first place. i wanna advocate for myself at this appointment, but i’m nervous how to bring it up. i also feel like the revision should be covered since the original concern was known beforehand and the plan was changed. has anyone dealt with something similar or have advice on what to say?
