Does anyone have any advice on how to manage spending guilt?

I’m going to try and explain this as best as I can but I really don’t have a way with words. It’s also my first time using reddit so I’m sorry if this is on the wrong community or something.

Every time I buy something I get so upset and guilty over it even if it wasn’t particularly expensive or it was something I needed. This isn’t just with things like skincare or clothes or anything, it happens with food as well. I will go to great lengths to not have to buy food because I can’t even enjoy it afterwards because I feel sick to my stomach with guilt and the flavour is overpowered by guilt. I need to get over this somehow or find a way to manage it because at the minute I’m 17 and obviously soon I’ll be living by myself so I’ll need to spend a lot more money on myself. I can’t even imagine the guilt that I’ll feel then. My friend always comforts me and she says not to feel guilty about spending money on food or things I need because it’s worth it but I can’t convince myself and still feel awful after every purchase.

Please if anyone has any advice or ways to fix whatever this is it would be greatly appreciated!
