Can someone help me understand my diagnosis?
So I would really appreciate some insight on my situation. I went for my yearly pap in March and it came back I had LSIL. They wanted me to do a biopsy so I had my colposcopy done. My colposcopy came back that I had CIN II and would need a leep procedure. My HPV test results all came back negative. I had my leep done almost a month ago, met with my doctor and he said that it was not cancer and I had a lot of inflammation. I asked him what the inflammation was from and honestly I couldn’t understand his answer and don’t even really remember him giving me a clear one. Does anybody know what he is referring to? Why would I have inflammation? Did I ever have HPV? And if my test results were negative, why did I need a LEEP etc… I’m just confused and don’t understand how I even got here.
