For starters I don’t know a whole lot about computers besides the basics but for a while now whenever I download a game for example it causes my pc to freeze up. I usually have discord running when I’m on my pc and I notice it freezing because discord and any other applications I have running while downloading will stop responding for a bit of time and then it’ll start working again and this repeats for the entire duration of the download. I’ve checked my ssd speed while downloading and the read looks normal but my write speed will drop to very low kbps which is when everything freezes. I thought maybe my ssd was bad but I checked the health of it and it said everything was good. I’m at a loss on what could be causing this and how to fix it so any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated
