Need opinions about my teacher. Did he crossed the line?
So there's this new math teacher at our high school and he's been weird... Like I don't want to use strong or exaggerated adjectives. Let's say he's really old-fashioned, has this rude humour and he often comments on everyone's body and face (yeah for the boys too).
So the scene was. We had this "practice" math test and we had to sit separately. One desk/person. You could ask for help, but you at least had to try alone. I was wearing a really basic outfit. A black long-sleeved tee. Nothing wild. Not even a deep cleavage. Something had bitten me during last period around my collarbone and it was a bit red. So I asked for help. He laid down to my desk. Pretty close to my face. He was damn stinky oh God. Then he stated; " Something had bit you above your titties" and I immediately said " I know, please let's not look there" and he casually said "But I just can't look away". I felt sick to the stomach. Like I genuinely felt disguised. After approximately 20 minutes I asked for help again and as he laid down to my desk again I instinctively put my hand to my neckline and played with my necklace to not to be so obvious then he said " Dont worry I can't see under shirt. I tried". He laughed.
I didn't know what to do. Like I was almost crying at this point because I never got comments on my breast from a nearly 65 yrs old male teacher. Keep in mind that im still a minor (16).
After class I told my friends that I wanna tell our principal because this teacher got reported a few times abt body shaming and for comments like this. But my friends immediately told me to not say anything. They said "u know how he is" "he didn't mean it like that" "if he gets fired we're cooked. He's a great math teacher. Don't think too much in it."
So now I'm just confused. Did I really overreact this? What would you do in my case?
