help me feel better

i got accepted into some pretty good programs for my major, but i didn't receive any financial aid. going to these schools would have made me take out between 20-40k in loans a year to attend. i decided on going to my local private where my coa is reasonable, but everyday i think about how i turned down my life dream for financial security. i know loans are really bad and i made the right decision financially, but i feel like im not excited to attend the college i chose. obviously attending any school, especially a private, is a huge privilege but its hard for me to get over letting go of my dream schools

I know last year Syracuse increased their financial aid offers to some students after the enrollment deadline to increase their enrollment, is it possible that happens again this year? I need an extra $15,000 to attend.
