So I met this guy at work and he seems genuinely interested in me, asked for my number and instagram. We’ve hung out a couple times in a group setting and held hands one time when I got tipsy. He holds my jacket and my bag and is always very caring when I’m drunk. He’s quite warm in person and every time I text him, he replies quickly and is enthusiastic but never initiates a text message. I confronted him about it and told him it made me feel insecure and overthink. And he apologized for it and said he will be better. I realized that he would not initiate ever so I asked him to grab dinner with me yesterday. We walked back home, I asked him to hold my bag and then I held onto his arm. I think I might’ve tired him out cause he suggested taking the streetcar after 30ish minutes. And then gave my bag back to me and then he dropped me off home which was on his way back home too. But I couldn’t hug him goodbye or anything. I feel bad now because I think I tired him out and he didn’t enjoy the night.
Since we work in the same building and see each other at lunch sometimes, I was gonna go to his office and casually apologize for tiring him out if I did and mention that I wanted to hug him goodbye but it seemed like he wanted to run away from me.
