42F Recently Lost My Job.....Facing Homelessness With My Daughter and Need Advice
I’m a 42 year old mom going through a really difficult time right now. I lost my job, and I’m behind on rent with very little time left before we may have to leave our place. I’ve been trying everything I can to stay afloat, but things have become overwhelming.
At this point, I’m scared that my daughter and I may end up living in our car if I can’t figure something out soon. I’m posting here because I truly need advice, resources, or guidance from anyone who has been through something similar.
I’m actively looking for work and trying to stay strong for my daughter, but the stress and uncertainty have been hard. Any advice about emergency assistance programs, temporary housing, budgeting, or even words of encouragement would mean a lot to me right now.
