Hey folks, I'm a protestant but have been exploring different models of the Trinity. I have been very drawn to Monarchial Trinitarianism, which I understand is the belief of the Eastern Orthodox.

Could anyone help point me to more resources I could read about it or explain it more in detail to me? Based off what I understand:

The Father is the sole source (arche) of the Trinity - not as though He possesses divinity prior to the others or distributes it as a separable substance, but in the sense that He is the personal origin (cause, aitia) of the Son and the Spirit. I've also heard theologians like Beau Branson and Joshua Sijuwade talk about how the Father is God in the nominative sense, and the Son and Spirit God in the predicative sense.

Would you say that the Son is "grounded" in the Father or is that language incorrect? And would you maintain that the Son has aseity as per his essence since he shares the exact same essence as the Father - but not in his hypostasis, since he is 'dependent' on the Father in that sense?

Thanks in advance for any help!
