I’m not like a super avid collector. Meaning I just enjoy the thrill of ripping packs and seeing what I get.

I don’t, by any means, have a super exclusive collection or anything. Not making or trying to make money. Unless I got super lucky on a guy I don’t care for much.

I don’t keep ALL base cards obviously.

But I primarily collect all current and former Mets, regardless how crappy they may have been. Any unique card, base or otherwise, gets added.

For my “rest of the league” binder I just collect all the guys I like. But I still like to have the base card in there too with any parallels or variations if I have it.

Is this just a me thing?
